You Ask Me, “Where Is The Victory”?

Have you been battling in your walk lately?  Do you need a pick-me-up?

Well here is a dose of God’s medicine for you. Like all other medicine it needs to be taken regularly but unlike natural medicine, the bigger the dose the better!

The throne of God is established on the praises of His people. Ps 22:3 When the people of God start to praise, they begin to touch the throne. The more we praise the more we touch the throne.

The highest manifestation of spiritual life is seen in people praising God. It is the loftiest expression believers can ever show God. Praise can take you to the highest place in the universe: the throne of God.

Take special note of this: those who offered praise in the OT were those whom God had led through distressing situations. It was out of their wounded feelings that they composed the words of praise.

REMEMBER THIS: whenever God’s children are praising, Satan must flee. Frequently prayer is a battle, but praise is victory! Prayer is spiritual warfare, but praise is the shout of triumph. For this reason it is the shout of praise that Satan hates most.

In the book of Acts, prison doors were opened twice – once in answer to prayer and once in answer to praise. Acts 12:5-10, Acts 16:25-26 However, while prayer may not always open prison doors, PRAISE DOES!

Why is praise also triumph? Because when you only pray, you are yet in your environment (circumstances); but when you praise, you have risen above your environment. Therefore what prayer alone may fail to accomplish, praise can.

When your spirit is pressed beyond measure so that you can hardly breathe, pray if you are able to pray, and PRAISE WHEN YOU ARE NOT ABLE TO PRAY.

When you offer “the sacrifice of praise” Heb 13:15, that is, when you praise as a sacrifice, you will quickly transcend everything so that nothing can bury you.

The children of God are often subjected to the temptation of rising up to fight. And many even assume that they are not able to overcome unless they fight. Not so. The wonderful principle of victory is not dependent on fighting, but ON PRAISING. 2 Chron 20:20-22

Nothing causes God to move His hand as much or as fast as praise does. Praise rises higher than prayer. Those who praise do not rest on expectations; they have already transcended. They have praised until the victory has been won.

Human thoughts are generally occupied with struggling and fighting, because man always has the enemy in sight. But divine thought is centered on faith and praise; it transcends man’s sight and sees as God sees.

Victory does not lie in struggling with your flesh. It comes when you bow your head and praise the Lord, saying “Lord, I praise Your way. What You have arranged for me cannot be wrong. Whatever You do is perfect.” Only then will your spirit rise ABOVE your problems, ABOVE your own inner feelings and into victory.

You ask me “Where is the victory?” I ask you “Where is the hallelujah?” For “hallelujah” is the note of victory!
