When I look life square in the face
I wonder about its purpose and place
For some life is big, for some life is small
Nevertheless it is life to all!
When I look life square in the face
I stand amazed at it’s colours of lace
For some life is kind, for some life is fair
To others life is blind and it just doesn’t care!
When I look life square in the face
I think to myself, it is not quite in place
For life comes to us wrapped in a parcel
We want to unwrap it in our castle!
When I look life square in the face
It almost presents itself as a total disgrace!
For some it is heaven, for some it is hell
How life taste and smell, is so hard to tell!
Then one day, Life came along and looked me square in the face
He reached out for my broken heart
As it became whole in His broken hands
My life changed into an eternal dance!
